Japanese non-profit organisation ISPS Handa has agreed a deal to title sponsor this year’s World Cup of Golf, which will be staged at Kingston Heath Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia from November 23-27.
ISPS Handa also held naming rights to the last edition of the event, which was staged at the nearby Royal Melbourne Golf Club in 2013.
This year’s tournament will officially be titled the ISPS Handa World Cup of Golf.
Australia’s Jason Day and Adam Scott are the defending champions having claimed victory in 2013. Day (pictured) also won the individual title three years ago, although organisers have scrapped the format for this year’s event, with the focus instead being on the team pursuit.
