Italian Serie A football club Inter Milan has entered into a partnership with French banking group Crédit Agricole.
The deal, the length of which was not disclosed, names Crédit Agricole as a ‘top partner’ of Inter and the club’s official bank.
As part of the agreement, promotional initiatives will be launched for Inter fans.
Giampiero Maioli, senior country officer for Crédit Agricole in Italy, said: “Researching excellence and developing young talent are just some of the points of contact between our group and Inter.
“We share an international viewpoint with Inter and also pay close attention to social matters. We’re happy to be the official bank and top partner of a team with such ambition and we are certain this partnership will enrich joint initiatives for solidarity, business and human development. Our group has always supported Italian sport and its values and team spirit.”
Inter finished the 2017-18 Serie A season in fourth place, securing qualification for the Uefa Champions League.
