Automotive manufacturer SWM Motors has agreed a deal to become a regional partner of Italian Serie A football club Inter Milan in China.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that SWM Motors will serve as the official car of the club for the Greater China area.
SWM Motors and Inter Milan will also collaborate on activities and initiatives to expand their global presence and establish a closer relationship with fans and the general public in China.
Michael Gandler, chief revenue officer at Inter Milan, said: “This partnership is an important step for us, particularly, because it sees us increase our presence in Asia. SWM is the perfect partner for Inter as we look to expand the club’s activities in the region.”
SWM Motors was founded in Italy, but is now wholly owned by a Chinese holding company.
