IJF pins down extension with Chinese equipment partner

The International Judo Federation has extended its partnership with Chinese sports equipment manufacturer the Taishan Sports Group.

The new four-year deal will run from 2017 to 2020. Taishan will continue to supply high-quality equipment to the IJF as part of the extended deal.

Under the new agreement, the IJF will launch a new type of gym infrastructure in conjunction with the Impulse Gym Club, which is a part of Taishan. The gyms will be directly connected with judo training facilities.

The new deal will also result in the IJF cooperating with Taishan on judo equipment research.
