Korean automotive company Hyundai & Kia Motors has agreed to become a tier one domestic sponsor of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic winter Games.
As the official automobile supplier, Hyundai & Kia Motors will provide 4,100 cars to support PyeongChang 2018’s operations and also contribute an undisclosed monetary sponsorship.
Hyundai & Kia Motors will be able to use the PyeongChang 2018 logo in its promotional activities and benefit from showcasing rights within the Olympic site.
PyeongChang Organising Committee for the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic winter Games president Yang-ho Cho said: “We are confident that this sponsorship agreement will encourage other Korean companies to join as sponsors and continued support from the Korean business community will help us deliver a successful Olympic and Paralympic winter Games.”
Hyundai & Kia becomes PyeongChang 2018’s eighth domestic sponsor.
