Gaming products manufacturer HyperX has agreed a deal to become the official headset partner of the Philadelphia 76ers NBA basketball franchise.
HyperX will also sponsor esports franchise Team Dignitas, which is owned by the 76ers. The agreement will cover the 2017-18 NBA season.
As part of the deal, HyperX will work with the 76ers on a range of in-game activations and benefit from courtside and in-arena LED ring signage and branding, exposure on scoreboards, concourse activations and giveaway nights.
The 76ers and Team Dignitas will work with HyperX to create co-branded video content, including crossover team activities and featured video vignettes, as well as advertisements on the teams’ websites.
Team Dignitas players will also use HyperX’s full line of gaming products including headsets, keyboards, mice and mousepads for practice sessions and tournaments.
The 76ers, which acquired Team Dignitas in September 2016, become the first NBA team to partner with HyperX.
