NFL American football team Arizona Cardinals has signed an expanded nine-year renewal to its commercial partnership with gambling and entertainment destination brand Gila River Casinos.
Building on an association established in 2006, Gila River Casinos now takes on the naming rights to the East and West Stadium Clubs hospitality areas at the Cardinals’ University of Phoenix Stadium.
Gila River Casinos will benefit from prime signage spots within the stadium, alongside a variety of advertising, marketing, promotional, hospitality and community engagement opportunities. The extension makes the company the Cardinals’ second largest team partner.
Additionally, the Cardinals and Gila River will continue to collaborate on grassroots initiatives including the Cardinals Flag Football League and youth football clinics.
Arizona Cardinals has won eight of its nine regular season NFL games in 2014 and heads into Sunday’s game against Detroit Lions on a five-match winning streak.
