The Swiss Ski Federation has agreed a new three-year deal with Helvetia in a move that will allow the Swiss insurance group to continue its support of the organisation, according to the Sponsors.de website.
Having served as a sponsor since 2005, Helvetia will remain a partner of the federation until 2017. Financial details of the deal have not been revealed, but reports suggest the basic terms have remained the same.
The agreement will allow Helvetia to retain a presence across marketing campaigns and events, as well as in youth sport.
In addition, the insurance group will also continue to support individual athletes, including cross-country skier Dario Cologna.
Helvetia currently enjoys a strong brand association with skiing through its partnership with events such as the Four Hills ski-jumping tournament.
