The French Football League (LFP) has engaged Havas Sports & Entertainment, the global brand engagement network of the Havas agency, in its search for a title sponsor for the top-tier Ligue 1 club competition.
The LFP is actively seeking a title sponsor for Ligue 1 and has entrusted Havas Sports & Entertainment to research and negotiate a deal associated with the naming rights for the competition.
The LFP oversees the running of Ligue 1, the second-tier Ligue 2, the Coupe de la Ligue knockout tournament and the Trophée des Champions, the annual match between the winners of the previous season’s Ligue 1 and Coupe de France.
Last year, pizza restaurant and delivery company Domino’s agreed a deal to become title sponsor of Ligue 2. The four-season deal covers the 2016-17 to 2019-20 campaigns.
