The DTM German touring car series has extended its partnership with Korean tyre manufacturer Hankook.
The new four-year partnership will see Hankook retain its position as the exclusive tyre supplier of the series until the end of the 2023 season.
Hankook, which has supplied tyres for the series since 2011, agreed the new deal with DTM umbrella organisation ITR.
As part of the agreement, Hankook will equip cars with performance racing tyres and also provide technical and engineering support at every race meeting. The company will also benefit from trackside advertising opportunities, an exhibition space in the DTM Fan Village and an extensive marketing campaign.
The 2019 DTM season will feature cars constructed by German automotive manufacturers Audi and BMW and British sports car brand Aston Martin. Races are planned for Germany, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands and Great Britain.
