Hangzhou 2022 signs up ICBC as latest sponsor

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) has agreed a deal to sponsor the 2022 edition of the Asian Games multi-sport event, which will be held in Hangzhou.

ICBC will serve as the official banking service partner of the Games and will enjoy the highest level of sponsorship associated with the event. The company also supported the 2010 Games, which were held in Guangzhou.

ICBC will promote green initiatives during the Games and develop intelligent equipment for use at the event.

The Hangzhou 2022 organising committee said sponsors in the IT, financial technology and airline categories will be the next priority. In July, the committee announced China Telecom and China Mobile as official communication service partners of the Games.

The Hangzhou Games will take place from September 10-25, 2022.

Earlier this year, ICBC signed on as a sponsor of the 31st summer Universiade, which will take place in Chengdu, China in 2021. ICBC will serve as a top-tier partner of the multi-sport event, which is organised by the International University Sports Federation (FISU).
