Electronics company Grundig has expanded its sponsorship deal with German football club FC Nurnberg to become an exclusive partner of the 1.Bundesliga side through to the 2016-17 season.
Grundig signed a four-year deal for the naming rights to the club’s stadium in February this year, but has opted to enhance the arrangement.
The new deal, administered by the Sportfive agency, will now include various advertising opportunities including on new LED boards that have been installed in the stadium. Grundig has also been provided with a VIP box in the ground as part of the new agreement.
The firm had a major presence with the club during the 1970s, and the new deal is the latest move from Grundig to further strengthen its association with Bavarian outfit.
