GREAT Britain marketing campaign renews with Clipper Race

The UK government-led GREAT Britain marketing campaign has renewed a commercial partnership with the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.

The deal will run for the 2015 edition following a successful campaign in the 2013-14 series, which profiled British trade, tourism and sport.

Through the partnership, GREAT Britain will offer six partnership places for £250,000 (€317,000/$394,000) each.

The agreement was struck with Clipper Ventures, which operates the sailing event.

“We will build on the success of our 2013-14 involvement to develop an innovative trade and tourism partnership with Clipper Ventures that delivers jobs and growth for Britain,” Conrad Bird, the director of the GREAT Britain campaign, said. “The GREAT Britain campaign is a unique platform from which to promote British technology, innovation, manufacturing, creativity, adventure and hospitality in key markets around the world. I’d encourage British companies to seize the opportunity to get involved and join this GREAT partnership.”
