German Bundesliga football club Bayern Munich has entered into a partnership with US tyre manufacturer Goodyear.
The company has agreed a multi-year deal to become a platinum partner of Bayern, the current Bundesliga champion. The deal will become effective from January 1 next year.
As part of the agreement, Goodyear has already provided tyres for Bayern's team bus and several players’ private cars. It will also receive pitch-side advertising at the Allianz Arena during the club's home games.
In addition, the two parties will work together on various initiatives for retailers and customers over the course of the deal.
