South African rugby union franchise Golden Lions has agreed a two-year sponsorship deal with Jonsson Workwear.
Under the terms of the deal, the company will gain exposure on the Golden Lions jerseys in the Super Rugby and Currie Cup competitions.
Jonsson will also benefit from extensive branding opportunities at the team’s Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg and provide workwear to all Golden Lions staff and players.
The deal is Jonsson’s first move into provincial South African rugby union having enjoyed a presence in the sport at club level.
It is the title sponsor of club side Jonsson College Rovers and previously supported GWK Griquas in its Currie Cup campaigns.
