The German Ice Hockey Federation (DEB) has agreed a sponsorship deal with online clothing retailer DefShop.
The deal names DefShop as a premium partner of the DEB and the German national team. The length of the long-term agreement was not disclosed.
As part of the agreement, DefShop’s branding will appear on the trousers of the men’s national team, and on the jerseys of the junior and women’s teams.
DefShop will also provide national team players with leisure and business clothing as part of the deal.
Further brand exposure will be provided through print and online media, while ticket packages will also be granted to the company.
In addition, DefShop and the DEB will collaborate on merchandising initiatives.
