German orthopaedic aids manufacturer Bauerfeind has agreed a one-year partnership with the German Athletics Federation (DLV).
Bauerfeind will provide German athletes with bandages, orthotics and orthopedic inserts at events throughout 2016, including next summer’s Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. The deal becomes effective on January 1.
The company will receive advertising exposure through the DLV’s digital media platforms as part of the agreement.
“The products from Bauerfeind have proved themselves in sport,” DLV president Clemens Prokop said. “Many of our top athletes are already benefiting from the high quality.”
Bauerfeind is a long-standing supporter of athletics and has in the past provided its services at World Championships, European Championships and Olympic Games.
