Glasgow 2014 has signed up beverage brand Gatorade as a sponsor of the Commonwealth Games ahead of the start of the multi-sport event in the Scottish city this week.
Gatorade, part of the PepsiCo group, becomes the 46th sponsor of Glasgow 2014 and will serve as the official sports drink of the Games.
Gatorade will provide non-carbonated sports drinks and drinks stations for the anticipated 4,500 athletes competing at the Games.
The 2014 Commonwealth Games will run from July 23 to August 3. Longines, SSE, Virgin Media, BP, Emirates and Ford serve as top-tier partners of the event.
