The Gaelic Athletics Association (GAA) has reached a commercial agreement with Irish tax refund company Taxback.com for the North American region.
Under the partnership, Taxback.com will provide US tax refunds for GAA players that travel to the US on J1 visas during the summer months.
Chairman of the North American GAA Association, Gareth Fitzsimons, said: “The GAA has for many years been at the heart of Irish communities in the USA and is a rite of passage for thousands of young players.
“This summer we expect to welcome 400 Irish GAA players to the US and this partnership will enable us to support the growth of the GAA in this country and provide information and access to valuable services for thousands of our members both over the summer and into the future.”
