Pensions provider Friends Life has been unveiled as title sponsor for the inaugural edition of the UK’s Women’s Tour cycling series.
The five-stage event takes place across the UK from May 7-11 this year, beginning in Oundle and concluding in Bury St Edmunds.
Under the terms of the deal, the race leader on each day will wear the branded Friends Life yellow jersey.
Overseen by event organiser and sports marketing company SweetSpot, the Women’s Tour will feature 96 of the world’s top riders, including British stars Lizzie Armitstead and Dani King alongside reigning world and Olympic champion Marianne Vos and world No.1 Emma Johansson.
