Four more partners for Williams F1

THE WILLIAMS F1 Team signed up four partnership deals this week, of which three are upgrades on existing deals.

The three upgraded deals are with Randstad, the global recruitment company, Kemppi, the Finnish manufacturer of welding equipment and Wihuri, a global industry and trade conglomerate engaged in a number of sectors, notably packaging products.

In its eighth consecutive year with Williams F1, Randstad will see its branding appear prominently on the car’s engine cover and cockpit surround, whilst also appearing on the front and back of all the team’s apparel. In addition, Randstad branding will also appear on the drivers’ caps.

Kemppi, which first joined the Williams F1 Team’s portfolio of partners in April 2012, will see its logo positioned on the front wing endplate of the Williams Renault FW35 and the sleeve of the drivers’ overalls and team apparel.

Another Finnish company, Wihuri, which first partnered with the Williams F1 Team in May 2012, has also increased its commitment to the team. The Wihuri logo will feature on the rear wing end plate of the Williams Renault FW35 in all races outside of Europe and North America.

In Europe and North America, the logo featured on the rear wing end plate will be Wipak and Winpak respectively, each being divisions of the Wihuri Group. The Wihuri logo will also feature on the drivers’ helmets and overalls, as well as team clothing.

Finally, global information services company Experian signed a multi-year partnership deal which will see the Experian logo visible on the chassis side and front wing of the Williams-Renault FW35, and appear on each driver’s overalls, their respective helmets, and team personnel’s kit.
