Sports medicine specialist Clinica Meds, telecommunications provider Movistar and education institute Santo Tomas have reached deals to be national supporters of the Fifa U-17 World Cup national team football tournament when it arrives in Chile next year.
All three sponsors will provide their services to assist with tournament operations along with playing a part in Chile 2015’s legacy plans.
Thierry Weil, director of Fifa’s marketing division, said: “The Fifa U-17 World Cup Chile 2015 represents another wonderful opportunity for us to help shape the growth and development of young people through football. However, none of this valuable work can be achieved without the essential contribution, dedication and local knowledge of our national supporters Clinica Meds, Santo Tomas and Movistar.”
Financial terms for the sponsorship agreements were not disclosed.
The 2015 U-17 World Cup takes place from October 17 to November 8 next year.
