The English Football League has reached an agreement to make Fiat Chrysler Automobiles UK its official car partner.
Effective from this weekend’s Football League play-off finals at Wembley Stadium, the agreement will run for two years until the end of the 2016-17 season.
At the play-off finals for the Championship, League One and League Two divisions, Fiat will be an event partner with perimeter, centre circle and giant screen branding. The automotive manufacturer will give away 10 pairs of tickets to fans who will have the chance to win a Fiat 500X via an online competition.
From next season, Fiat Chrysler will roll out an affinity scheme available to all 72 Football League clubs, which will promote its brand through online campaigns, football ground activity and local dealer promotions.
Fiat Chrysler is already the vehicle supplier to English Premier League team Aston Villa, while its London-based dealership Motor Village is the official car partner of Championship club Fulham.
