French state-controlled betting and gaming operator PMU has agreed a four-year extension to its partnership with the French Football Federation.
The agreement will extend a relationship that began in 2010, around the same time that PMU launched an online sports betting service in the country.
PMU will continue to serve as a major partner of the FFF alongside Nike, GDF Suez and Credit Agricole.
French energy company EDF last week agreed a four-year sponsorship deal with the federation running from 2014-15 to 2017-18.
The French national team will compete in this summer’s Fifa World Cup, which begins on Thursday. France has been placed in Group E alongside Switzerland, Ecuador and Honduras.
