California-based sunglasses and sports performance apparel manufacturer Oakley has entered into a multi-year partnership with Formula One motor racing team Ferrari.
Under the agreement, Oakley has secured the designation of exclusive eyewear provider to Ferrari, effective from the 2014 F1 season.
Ferrari driver and two-time world champion Fernando Alonso has represented Oakley’s brand throughout the previous two F1 campaigns.
Oakley said the deal marks its motorsports division’s biggest global partnership so far.
