Golf’s European Tour has extended its partnership with official footwear supplier FootJoy until 2018.
The specialist golf shoe and glove manufacturer initially partnered with the European golf’s governing body in 2008 and, according to the tour’s website, the renewed terms feature “a variety of mutually beneficial brand-sharing and marketing elements.”
This latest agreement comes on the back of FootJoy’s deal with Ryder Cup Europe to become an official licensee of the biennial Europe versus USA matchplay tournament, which takes place at Gleneagles Hotel, Scotland from September 27-29 this year.
FootJoy boasts several leading golfers as its brand ambassadors, including reigning Masters and US PGA Championship champions Adam Scott and Jason Dufner and the European Tour’s 2013 Race to Dubai winner Henrik Stenson.
