Insurance group Ergo has entered into a three-season partnership with German club football’s knockout competition the DFB-Pokal.
Starting from the 2016-17 campaign, Ergo will be one of the competition’s six official partners. The deal with the German Football Association (DFB) will also cover the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons.
Under the agreement, Ergo will be granted LED and static banner advertising exposure during DFB-Pokal games. The company will also be given various other rights activations in and around stadia on match days.
As an official partner, Ergo will be given the right to use the DFB-Pokal logo on its products throughout the duration of the deal. In addition, hospitality packages will be made available to the company.
Bitburger, Continental, Deutsche Post, Engelbert Strauss, Targobank and Volkswagen currently serve as the DFB-Pokal’s six official partners.
