Work and safety wear manufacturer Engelbert Strauss has retained its status as the official presenting partner of pan-European club ice hockey competition the Champions Hockey League.
Engelbert Strauss’s new one-year deal will cover the 2016-17 CHL season, which got underway yesterday (Tuesday). The company struck the renewal with the Infront Sports & Media agency, the CHL’s exclusive marketing and media partner.
Under the agreement, Engelbert Strauss will continue to receive extensive, TV-visible advertising exposure during every CHL game.
Its branding will feature on the ice, on players’ jerseys, on perimeter advertising boards and on the platinum circle above the boards. The company will also feature in all CHL communication and promotional materials, including the league’s website and online streaming service.
Engelbert Strauss has sponsored the CHL since its inaugural 2014-15 season.
“Due to the strong sporting appeal, we have gained great visibility in our key sales markets including Germany, Sweden and Switzerland but also worldwide, which contributes to our own growth vision,” Karl-Heinz Brenner, head of marketing at Engelbert Strauss, said.
