Japanese automotive manufacturer Toyota has agreed a partnership with the England and Wales Cricket Board.
Under the two-year deal, running until 2017, England’s men’s cricket teams will promote a variety of Toyota models including its RAV4 and Land Cruiser brands.
Toyota will also serve as the headline sponsor of international cricket highlights on UK commercial broadcaster Channel 5, while receiving prominent in-stadium advertising at England games.
The company will have access to England players for a number of marketing and publicity opportunities.
Toyota replaces UK car maker Jaguar as an official ECB partner. In July last year, the ECB secured a two-year partnership with Korean automaker Kia relating exclusively to its women’s teams.
