NFL American football franchise the Philadelphia Eagles has renewed its partnership with fast-food giant McDonald's.
The new four-year deal will run through to the 2019 season. The team reached the agreement with the McDonald’s restaurants of the Greater Philadelphia region. The chain also has an association with the NFL.
To mark the fresh agreement, McDonald’s will give away $3,000 (€2,700) worth of tokens to Eagles supporters who use the Broad Street Line subway to attend the team’s pre-season game against the New York Jets later today (Thursday).
Throughout the season, various sweepstake competitions will be organised, with prizes to include tickets and VIP experiences. McDonald’s will also offer Eagles Bundle Boxes to customers, with further prizes to be made available.
In addition, every time the team records a sack during a game, fans will be eligible to receive a free Big Mac as part of the ‘Sack for a Big Mac’ initiative.
