Global battery brand Duracell has agreed a partnership with UK long-distance running property the Great Run Series.
The one-year deal will cover all 12 Great Run events during the 2016 series.
The partnership includes the branding of race pace-makers in the colours of the company’s ‘Duracell Bunny’ mascot.
Duracell will also place a number of editable #PowerBoards at Great Run events to allow competitors to write their own messages, as well as organise a ‘Duracell Mile’ in-event experience for runners.
Duracell brokered the deal with Hill + Knowlton Strategies and will continue to work with the agency on an integrated campaign across social, traditional and paid-for media channels during this year’s series.
The Great Run Series includes events such as the Great Manchester Run and the Great Newham London Run.
