Fantasy sports brand DraftKings has moved to strengthen its position in the US professional sports market after entering into a partnership with NBA basketball franchise the Philadelphia 76ers.
Under the deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, DraftKings will become the team’s official daily fantasy game partner.
DraftKings will also become the presenting partner of several of the team’s digital platforms, including the franchise’s official website and mobile application. DraftKings will also present the Sixers Radio Broadcast.
The deal, which will see the Sixers become DraftKings' first NBA partner, will further strengthen the brand’s position in the US sports market. DraftKings also recently secured a partnership with the North American NHL ice hockey league as well as agreements with NFL American football franchises the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots.
