Wholesale food company REWE Dortmund has extended its partnership with German Bundesliga top division football club Borussia Dortmund.
The renewal will run for two seasons, from 2014-15 to 2015-16.
Under the extended agreement, REWE will retain the naming rights to a family section of Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park stadium. The 1,500-seat home fans area will continue to be known as the REWE Family Block.
REWE will also continue its support of the club’s various community initiatives such as the BVB Family Day and the BVB Football School.
Borussia Dortmund, which reached the Uefa Champions League final last season before losing to Bundesliga rival Bayern Munich, currently sits third in the Bundesliga after 16 games of the 2013-14 season.
