German banking group Deutsche Kreditbank (DKB) has extended its sponsorship of the German Athletics Federation (DLV) until 2018.
DKB has been the national governing body’s main sponsor since 2010 and the renewed terms will become active from 2014.
Under the new contract, DKB’s branding will feature on Germany’s team kit at European athletics events, including the 2014 European Championships in Zurich from August 12-17 and the 2014 Team Championship, which takes place on home turf at Braunschweig on June 21-22.
Other events covered by the agreement are the 2016 European Championships in Amsterdam and the 2018 event, which takes place at the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
In addition, DKB’s branding will feature on the tracksuits worn by Germany’s athletes at the 2015 and 2017 editions of the IAAF World Championships in Beijing and London respectively.
