US information technology company Dell Technologies has renewed its title sponsorship of the annual World Golf Championships Match Play event.
The new four-year deal will run until 2023 and ensures the tournament will continue to be officially known as the World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play, a name it has held since 2016.
The deal has been signed ahead of the start of this year’s tournament in Austin, Texas later today (Wednesday). The tournament first moved to Austin in 2016 when Dell became title sponsor.
Bubba Watson is the defending champion of the tournament, which is one of four WGC events on the calendar. The other events are: WGC-Mexico Championship; WGC-Bridgestone Invitational; and WGC-HSBC Champions.
