The Danish Football Association (DBU) has entered into a partnership with gaming company Danske Spil.
The four-year agreement becomes effective on January 1, 2017 and will run until the end of 2020, covering the Uefa Euro 2020 national team tournament.
Danske Spil will serve as an official partner of the men’s senior and under-21 national teams as part of the deal. The company will share equal status with the DBU’s other top-tier partners: Hummel, Sportmaster and Carlsberg.
As part of the agreement, the DBU and Danske Spil will work on creating content for fans and customers.
The Danish capital of Copenhagen will serve as one of 13 host cities at Euro 2020 as part of a new hosting model introduced by Uefa, the sport’s European governing body. Copenhagen’s Parken Stadium will stage four games during the tournament.
