Online betting and gaming company Dafabet has agreed a deal to become the new title sponsor of the 2014 Champion of Champions snooker tournament.
This year’s edition of the event, which will feature tournament winners from the previous 12 months, will be known as the Dafabet Champion of Champions.
The tournament will begin with four groups, each featuring a semi-final and final with each group winner progressing to the tournament semi-finals. The final match will be played over 19 frames with the winner taking home £100,000
(€161,130/$126,220).
Dafabet, which will replace online gambling operator 888casino as title sponsor, struck the deal with the event’s promoter, Matchroom Sport.

The 2014 tournament will take place at the Ricoh Arena, in Coventry UK from November 3-8.
