Musto has strengthened its long-term relationship with the Volvo Ocean Race by being selected as the official supplier of sailing apparel and footwear for the 2014-15 event – the third time the company will undertake the role.
The sailing clothing firm was the official supplier for the eighth and ninth editions of the race in 2001-02 and 2005-06, and will return as a major partner of the sailing showpiece when the 12th edition begins in Alicante, Spain next year.
As well as supplying kit, Musto will also place the Volvo Ocean Race at the heart of its marketing activities until 2018, as well as showcase its products across existing and future sales points at host ports along the route.
Musto is a long-term supporter of the Race, having supplied sailing apparel and waterproof equipment to teams for every edition of the race since the 1981-82 event – where it supported the winning boat, Flyer.
