Video game developer EA Sports has agreed a sponsorship deal with English Premier League football club Crystal Palace.
The season-long deal will cover the 2016-17 Premier League campaign and names EA Sports as the club’s official video game partner.
Under the agreement, EA Sports’ branding will feature on the front of the playing jerseys of Crystal Palace's academy side, and on junior shirts sold by the club. In line with betting rules, the club does not sell junior shirts featuring the branding of online gaming company Mansion Group, its main sponsor.
As part of the deal, an exclusive Crystal Palace pack sleeve for EA Sports’ Fifa 17 title will be made available to junior fans. Competitions will be organised at the club’s match-day Fanzone area, which will include two Fifa 17 gaming stations and the EA Sports Dugout mobile touring unit.
