Covergirl and NFL launch ‘fanicures’ initiative

Make-up and beauty products brand Covergirl has entered into a partnership with American football’s NFL to launch its ‘fanicures’ campaign.

From Thursday, fans can log on to covergirl.com/NFL to buy 32 customised Covergirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss bundles – allowing them to decorate their nails with the logo and colours of their favourite team.

Those attending games will also be able to experience ‘fanicures’, with Covergirl enjoying a presence at selected fixtures both inside and outside stadia at NFL Style Lounges and the Covergirl mobile manicure stations respectively.

The first of 10 roll-outs in NFL Style Lounges arrives on September 29, when Atlanta Falcons hosts New England Patriots at the Georgia Dome, while ‘nailgating’ activations outside grounds begin a fortnight earlier when Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Paul Brown Stadium to take on Cincinnati Bengals.

Additionally, Covergirl will invite fans to compete with one another and upload their own team-inspired nail looks to its Facebook page.
