Electrical products manufacturer Foxlux has agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A football club Corinthians.
The agreement covers the 2017 season. Foxlux’s branding will feature on the back of Corinthians’ shirts as part of the agreement.
The deal comes after Corinthians earlier this month agreed a jersey sponsorship deal with smartphone manufacturer Alcatel. The company’s logo will feature on the shoulder blades of the team’s shirts.
“Announcing the second sponsorship in a week reinforces the power of the Corinthians brand even at a still unstable time in the Brazilian economy,” Fernando Sales, Corinthians’ marketing director, said. “The achievement of the second sponsor is also a result of the work the marketing department has been doing at the club. We will continue working so that other news and sources of revenue are presented soon.”
Corinthians wore its Foxlux-branded jerseys for the first time yesterday (Sunday) during a 1-1 draw with São Paulo in the Campeonato Paulista tournament.
