Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A football club Corinthians has signed a shirt sponsorship deal with consumer electronics company Positivo.
The agreement, which covers Corinthians’ men’s and women’s teams, runs until October and includes the option of a renewal until December.
Positivo’s branding will appear on the back of Corinthians’ shirts in the space previously occupied by smartphone manufacturer Alcatel, whose partnership with the São Paulo-based club concluded at the end of 2017.
Corinthians agreed the deal with Positivo Technologia, which owns the Positivo brand.
Vinicius Azevedo, Corinthians’ marketing manager, said: “We are very happy to close another sponsorship with a large Brazilian company, Positivo Tecnologia, which is now a multinational company and presents worldwide numbers.
“The sector of computers, tablets and smartphones is one of the fastest growing on the planet and, besides adding value to the brand, offers us innumerable other possibilities to activate and offer content to our fans.”
