Soccer United Marketing, the dedicated marketing arm of the US Soccer national governing body, has reached a multi-year agreement with German health products company Bayer HealthCare to make its Coppertone brand the official suncare partner of US Soccer and the National Women’s Soccer League.
Coppertone will use the partnership with the NWSL to encourage skin protection among spectators and players.
The US women’s and men’s national teams will be sponsored by Coppertone during their respective Fifa World Cup and Gold Cup campaigns later this year.
US Soccer branding is set to appear on Coppertone packaging and displays, while its products will be made available to US players at all age group levels.
A group of US internationals will also be announced as Coppertone brand ambassadors.
