Australian supermarket chain Coles has reached a sponsorship agreement with Netball Australia ahead of its forthcoming international matches.
Under the deal, Coles becomes the official supermarket sponsor of Netball Australia’s school programme and the naming rights partner for the national team’s upcoming Test series against New Zealand and Malawi.
The sponsorship means Australia players Madison Browne, Rebecca Bulley, Kim Green, Demelza McCloud and Natalie Medhurst will visit schools as ambassadors of the Coles Netball Schools Programme.
“Creating passion for netball within the school environment will mean that our sport remains popular and significant for all Australians,” Netball Australia chief executive Kate Palmer said.
