Logistics company PSP and financial technology firm LMAX Exchange have agreed deals to serve as team sponsors for the 2015-16 edition of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.
The PSP Logistics team will be skippered by Max Stunell of Portsmouth, UK, with the company returning having served as a sponsor during the 2013-14 Clipper Race.
French skipper Olivier Cardin will lead LMAX Exchange as the latter makes its debut for the 2015-16 race.
Frank Dixie, founder and managing director of PSP, said: “Being a team sponsor in the Clipper 2013-14 Race proved to be an amazing opportunity to continue to build our profile on a global platform while supporting something very important to us, so we’re really pleased to be returning as a team sponsor for the 10th edition race.”
David Mercer, chief executive of LMAX Exchange, said: “We are focused on expanding our global reach even further and believe our unique vision for global FX trading is set to lead industry change not only in the UK but globally. This race is symbolic for us, a physical manifestation of our global growth.”
