Brazilian cinema chain Kinoplex has struck a deal to become an official supporter of the 2016 summer Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
Kinoplex, which is already a partner of the Brazilian Paralympic Committee, will serve as the official cinema during next year’s Games.
Kinoplex will show Rio 2016 campaign videos during theatrical screenings at its cinemas across Brazil.
In addition, Kinoplex will be able to use official Paralympic marks and Tom, the Rio 2016 Paralympic mascot, in promotional activities.
Kinoplex president Luiz Severiano Ribeiro, who also serves as an ambassador for the Brazilian Paralympic Committee, said: “As a Brazilian company, we believe that we should support all initiatives of our country in which we trust and this is one of them.”
