Racing bicycle frames manufacturer Cervélo has struck a deal to become title sponsor of the Bigla Pro Cycling women’s professional team.
The one-year deal with the Swiss outfit will run for the duration of the 2016 season. Under the agreement, the team will now be known as Cervélo-Bigla Pro Cycling.
Cervélo has a strong presence in the professional cycling market and provided frames to the Bigla team during the 2015 season.
Robert Reijers, managing director of Cervélo, said: “It's an exciting time for the team and for women's pro cycling. Female participation in our sport is exploding globally. One way we support women's engagement is by supporting pro cycling.”
