North American NBA basketball team the Boston Celtics has agreed partnerships with global money management company Putnam Investments and US insurance firm Arbella Insurance Group.
Under the agreements, Putnam Investments and Arbella Insurance will serve as co-presenting partners of the team’s end-of-season playoff campaign. The Celtics qualified for the 2015-16 playoffs after finishing second in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference.
Both companies will benefit from prominent branding placement on the Celtics’ official website, as well as inclusion in the team’s e-marketing and social media communications.
Putnam Investments and Arbella Insurance have also collaborated with the team to produce a playoff logo that will be used to promote both the playoffs as well as the presenting partnerships.
The Celtics will also host a series of giveaways, promotions and events, while branding from both companies will appear on LED signage and the scoreboard inside the team’s TD Garden home arena.
In addition, co-branded banners will be displayed throughout the city of Boston.
