The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has agreed a 30-year sponsorship deal with Ultrafarma, an e-commerce company that works in the pharmaceutical sector.
The deal will run from 2015-16 to 2044-45, with the option of revising the agreement every five years.
Financial terms were not disclosed, but Ultrafarma will benefit from branding exposure on the CBF’s materials and the opportunity to engage in customer-facing activations.
“The company is associating its image to this symbol of achievement, victory and leadership that is the Brazil national team,” Ultrafarma’s president and founder, Sidney Oliveira, said.
CBF president Marco Polo Del Nero said that the deal illustrated the returning confidence in the Brazil team a year on from crashing out of the Fifa World Cup to Germany, adding: “The national team is the most successful in sports history. One year after the most difficult time for the team, we have this example of a reliable partner in Ultrafarma – an acknowledgment of our administration.”
