Trinidad-based building contractor Kallco has renewed its partnership with the Caribbean Premier League, while the Twenty20 cricket tournament has also announced that it will continue its association with Busta Soft Drinks.
Kallco has signed on as an official contractor and sponsor of the CPL for its 2016 season, which will run from June 29 to August 7. As part of the agreement, a new VIP pavilion and stand will be fitted at Trinidad & Tobago’s Queen’s Park Oval venue, which will host a number of CPL games this year.
As part of the CPL’s deal with Busta, the two parties will organise product giveaways and fan activations during games. Supporters will also be given the chance to win match tickets through radio and social media campaigns.
“Busta were one of the proud Caribbean brands who helped launch the Hero CPL in the first year, and it is great to see them continue the relationship into its fourth year,” Jamie Stewart, commercial director at the CPL, said. “We hope CPL fans will look to Busta when needing refreshment during this exciting summer of cricket action.”
The 2016 CPL will take place across seven territories: Barbados, Jamaica, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago, and, for the first time, Fort Lauderdale in the US.
